dilemma of portrait

This is my friend. She seems not that good when I finally showed up her portrait.

I have a friend who draws portrait very well. Exactly speaking, cruelly very well. He pick up person's features correctly and most of them are far from being pretty or handsome.

That's kind of dilemma. Do I have to draw her face correctly that she will obviously feel sad about being not pretty, or do I have to draw more pretty/handsome so that I could give them some delights ?
