these are the Korean alphabet, Hangeul written with a Muk which is traditional ink. Western letters usually use curves to write but Korean letters, Hangeul usually use straight lines. And these days Hangeul is thouht to be very beautiful in artistic ways, so there are a lot of design patterns.
