It is used in Korean traditional wedding ceremony. In Korea, a pair of bird means beautiful couple. Therefore, In Korean wedding, there is a pair of bird like wild geese or ducks.. This bojagy is used to wrap the scuptures of a pair of bird. The tail of this bojagy is called 'yeon-gyu pattern(연귀모양)'. It is symbolized as a roof of the Korean house, 'Han-ok'.
