seoul forest and Ttukseom Water Purification Center

Today, my group did additional field works. We concentrate on the 'ECO Seoul', so we divide in pairs and make a plan to go Seoul forest(서울숲), Seoyoudo park(선유도공원), Sky park (상암하늘공원) and Chunggyechun(청계천).

As many posts are posted, many other groups already visited Seoul forest.

But my group focuses Seoul forest in the view of 'ecology'.

Seoul city really tried hard to make these forest. So there are lakes, many trees and jogging track and even animals!!!!

In NY, there is Central Park, and in Berlin there is Tiergarten (very large forest park in the center of Berlin). Seoul also needed large green park that provides fresh air and rest place.

But unfortunately Seoul forest is very green and fresh area but it locates far from city center

and really hard to get there.

Also, we visited 'Seoul Design Gallery' inside Seoul forest and 'Ttukseom Water Purification Center' near the forest.

In 'Seoul Design Gallery', it shows 4 major concepts of Design Seoul. These are

[airy 머무는] [sustainable 지속가능한] [intergrated 통합하는] [collaborative 더불어하는].

These really help our group a lot because these 4 concepts show some guidelines!

Also in gallery , it shows some design projects that are already done or now processing. It also help us to refer.

Also, we visited Water Purification Center. There is also Purification Museum but closed today... T,T so we just took some photos of outside but cooool~~!!

'Arisu' is public water which is from Seoul Waterworks. Not like other cities in Europe or US, people can drink public water freely~. Arisu is very clean and fresh!
