하늘공원에는 대체에너지와 관련하여서도 주목할 만한 점이 두가지 있다. 첫째는 매립가스이고 둘째는 풍차이다. 본래 쓰레기 매립장이었던 이 곳은 자연히 매립가스를 만들어내기가 좋은 곳이다. 또한 고지인 이곳의 특징을 이용하여 풍차를 만들어 전기를 생산해 내는 것이다. 이처럼 하늘공원은 경치뿐 아니라 에너지의 측면에서도 주목할만 하다.
The sky park deserve attention in alternative energy. First, landfill gas, and second Windlplant. Oridinaly The sky park is a dumping ground, so this place is useful to landfill gas. Because of high position, the sky park is useful to windplant. This place has to notice not only a beautiful place but also a place of alternative energy.
