The Stupa based on the model of the human body with the five layers representing the five elements, from down to up: earth, water, fire, wind and space. The column represents our mind pinpointed and in focus, like the Buddha. Based on this model the futuristic stupa seen below is conceived with translucent tetrahedral shapes representing the five elements, which could have the five colours, layered over one another, each having a base at the level of the chakra representing the element. The mind blossoms into the thousand petaled lotus. Wisdom obtained through the experience of movement in physical disciplines flows into the form of the stupa representing body, mind, spirit, traditional and modern architecture.
